Support & FAQ
Everything about playing Cycling 318 — the ride, postcards, the 318 passport, your data, and how to reach us.
What is Cycling 318?
A cozy side-scrolling cycling game for iPhone and iPad. You ride the real Sichuan–Tibet Highway (G318) from Chengdu to Lhasa over 20 days, climbing the passes and collecting a postcard from each landmark.
Is it free? Are there ads?
It’s free to download and play, with no ads. Optional cosmetic bikes and outfits are available in game; they only change how you and your postcards look.
Can I lose or fail a stage?
No. Cycling 318 is low-pressure by design. If you run out of stamina you simply walk the bike for a while, and the roam gear lets anyone finish any day at a relaxed pace.
How do postcards work?
When you ride up to a landmark, a check-in prompt appears. Tapping it composes a postcard — your rider and bike in front of the real scene, stamped with the place, altitude and day. You keep it in your 318 passport and can share it.
What is the 318 passport?
A collectible book that stamps each landmark you check in at, grouped by the five acts of the route. Completing acts and the full journey unlocks keepsakes and a "My 318" recap.
When I share a postcard, what gets sent?
Only the postcard image you chose to share, plus a link back to the game. Sharing is always something you start — nothing is uploaded in the background.
What devices and languages are supported?
iPhone and iPad on iOS 17 or later. The game is localized in English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, German and French.
Do I need an account? What about my data?
No sign-up. Your progress stays on your device and syncs through your private iCloud when you’re signed in with the same Apple ID. See the Privacy Policy for details.
